We feel that it is appropriate that The Tipperary Community Lotto should respond in some way to the Tsunami disaster, which devastated so many communities in south East Asia.  

                      One project, which we feel to be very worthwhile, is, The Buy a Boat Project. This is organized by the Irish-Sri Lanka Trust Fund (Chief patron John Hume), where a complete fishing boat package consisting of a 19 ft. boat complete with an outboard motor and three fishing nets will be purchased and delivered to a family in a fishing community. This will help them in some small way to start rebuilding their lives and their community.  

                      The cost of this boat package is €3,000. This will be paid on behalf of all thirteen members of The Tipperary Community Lotto.
